Found these guys through Yelp. They gave me a reasonable quote, their staff was friendly, professional and patient and they completed my repairs in both the time and price estimate they quoted me originally. There is one thing holding me back from leaving a five star review: My car smelled distinctly of cigarette smoke when I got it back. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

I recently drove from Portland to Seattle to look at a used car in Bothell, Wa. I wanted to have an independent mechanic look at the car to make sure there wasn't any obvious problems. I called last minute to Evergreen and Phil was kind enough to squeeze me into the schedule for a quick inspection. I brought my car in and Phil and the team looked at the car and was kind enough to answer a few additional questions - the most amazing thing was that they did this all for free! While I was there, there was another customer at the shop and she also raved about Evergreen and their great customer service. Although I haven't used them for any actual repairs, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place that is focused on great customer service!

My wife and I have been taking our cars here mostly for oil changes for 3-4 years. My wifes brakes had never been looked at so we had them check the brakes at the last oil change. They told us the front brakes were down to nothing, which they probably were. The crazy part comes at their estimate. $600 for a front brake job. They told her that her rotors were not turnable and had to be replaced. Of course we got a second opinion from a local brake center. They told us the rotors were fine and did the entire job for $160 and the brakes feel great on her car and don't squeek or throb at all. We feel very much like we were lied to at evergreen auto to try to sell more parts and rip off people that don't know better. It really felt like boarderline fraud. We may still take our cars there for oil changes due to their coupons but we will never get any other work done there for the simple reason that they are not trustworthy and overcharge for simple maintenance tasks. The labor charge alone for their brake job was more than the entire brake job cost us elsewhere.

Over the past several years I have taken my vehicles to Evergreen Autoworks when I need a repair that is beyond routine maintenance and cannot be handled by a place such as Grease Monkey. The primary reason I have taken my vehicles here is because of convenience...they are within walking distance to my home so I don't have to bother anyone to come pick me up or drop me off. However, I do take my vehicles here with caution. The reason for my caution is that they do charge for every diagnostic which can run from about $50-$100 or more depending on how many systems you need investigating. It seems to me that if they do find an issue, the cost of the diagnostic ought to be decreased a bit. Additionally I have found that I do have to review my invoice carefully because nearly every time I have found some mysterious charge that doesn't make sense and I've had to question it. For example, I recently needed a fix that only the dealership could do. Ev Auto took it the dealership to make the fix with a sublet fee. Fair enough. However, the invoice had 2 sublet fees. As a result of questioning it, I was not able to pick up my vehicle, but had to wait an additional two days until my service person came back to work to discuss the additional sublet charge. It seems it was an honest mistake and the extra fee was removed. So you can work with them on any issue and they are friendly. If it wasn't for the convenience, I probably would shop around and compare shops. Now I've also taken my vehicles there for body work and they did an excellent job, but fortunately I didn't have to worry about being overcharged because insurance handled that aspect.

We have been taking our cars to Evergreen for a number of years...they have always been honest and reliable. Not always the cheapest, but they use better quality parts and in the end, it's definitely worth going there. Phil is one of the nicest guys we've ever met, he's been there about 3 years or so now...everyone there is professional and very polite!!

Quite possibly one of the best experiences I've had for auto repair. The service these guys provide is top notch. You absolutely get what you paid for (and I mean this in a good way). They explain their checkup analysis, present you with options, will do minor checkups right in front of you, and give you the benefit of "analysis-Call the Customer to discuss the repairs needed- if you say Yes, THEN repair". I've had nightmare stories with many garages that just do the repair and give you a bill. Evergreen is kind enough to check the issue and call you with the exact cost before moving forward. I've had some horrendous service from other garages in New York and Washington, but these folks give you excellent automobile service and repairs, great customer communication, and quality work. I've never had to go back to make sure a repair was done right at this garage. When they say they fixed it...they did. No questions asked. As far as pricing, they are pretty fair. Not extremely cheap, but far from extremely pricey. I'd highly recommend this garage to any one of my friends or family.

This is the greatest shop ever! If you live even remotely close to Bothell or Mill Creek, this is the place to take your car. Thanks to Phil who is always so friendly...and thanks to Mike who buffed out a scratch for me free of charge (and without an appointment)! These guys take care of their customers. And as a female, dealing with past car shops have pissed me off. These guys treat everyone with respect and don't try and rip you off. What a concept! Seriously, don't even bother going anywhere else. LOVE LOVE LOVE Evergreen AutoWorks!

DO NOT use Evergreen! They are not honest and try to FIND things wrong with your car- not an honest business. I had my car looked at and they gave me a very high estimate. I took my car to another place and they said no, that work does not need to be done! All those gullible people who have fallen for this.

These guys poured coolant into our oil during an oil change. When our engine light came on 2 weeks after our oil change it took them 5 days to conclude that we needed a new transmission. Luckily we took our car to Redmond European and they cleaned it out with dawn. When I talked with Jeff the owner he told me I couldn't "prove" it was their fault and he wouldn't reimburse me. It is a horribly run shop with a greedy short sided owner! They are insanely slow too. Buyer beware!!

I visited Evergreen Autoworks on 10/29/2010 for a Service Engine Soon Diagnosis. My van was misfiring and the SES light was showing a p0300 generic misfire code. This is where Evergreen earns it's 5 stars. On 10/25/2010 I had visited the closest shop to my house Goodyear Auto Service Center on Bothell Everett Highway to diagnose the same problem. GoodYear's diagnosis: New Fuel Injector Assembly needed. Parts and Labor $983.99 After receiving GoodYears diagnosis, I purchased a OBD II scanner myself and started my own diagnosis. From all my research and conversations with others the problem pointed to a Distributor issue. Without telling Evergreen any of the aforementioned story except telling them the engine was misfiring, the SES light was on, and the code was a p0300, Evergreen performed there diagnosis and informed me I needed a new distributor cap and rotor. After, hearing back from Evergreen I fessed up and told them the story about GoodYear. Furthermore, I told them I think I will replace the cap and rotor myself. The gentlemen from Evergreen, Bill stated that, "If you can do it yourself I urge you to." Long story short, for $76 (new AC/Delco cap and rotor) I repaired the problem myself. Evergreen you have created a customer for life. Thank you.
